We are pleased to announce the first release of MatriX for Microsoft Silverlight.
MatriX is a XMPP library for Microsoft Silverlight written in c#.
Currently MatriX supports the XMPP core. We are working hard on adding
many new features and XEPs. So you can expect some updates with new features in the next weeks.
During the Secure Communication Week we tested with several customers the TLS encryption for the Compact Framework which is now included in this new release.

We moved the SVN repository to a new server.
It's now located at:
http://svn.ag-software.de/ags/.
We did not import the whole repository from the old server, we only imported the latest version. This will cause problems if you only change the URL in your SVN client.
We build a Windows package for the Tigase server.
You can download the package from the following url:

- Java Runtime 1.6.0 or newer
We will be attending FOSDEM 2007 on February 24th and 25th, and also attend the XMPP DevCon Interopt on the 26th February in Brussels.
If you want to talk to us there then leave us a message.
we released version 0.92 of our agsXMPP SDK.
One of the major changes in this release is a licence change. Because of many requests from open source developers we replaced the shared source licence with the GPL licence.
agsXMPP is now dual licenced and could be used under either one of the following two licences.
- The commercial licence which is probably the most appropriate for commercial corporate use and closed source projects.
- The GPL for inclusion in other open source projects.
